I've been looking through pages of knives for last few weeks and have been looking for something unusual that catches my eye. Here's what I'm looking for: knife with unusual handle materials, assisted opening would be nice, something colorful, and in the $125 and under price range. I stumbled across Mcusta knives and they really caught my attention. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :D

Is the CRKT Ripple not quite up your alley? They have a few other models that use somewhat different materials, though not quite on the Mcusta level of cool materials. Almar has some neat stuff, not assisted thogh. Spyderco has some interesting carbon fiber variations they use for a few models, not the standard checker weave but twill for instance:

Borrowed the pic from Howe's knife shop, its the Lum chinese design folder.

Mcusta definitely has some of the most unique handle materials though

Wow the CRKT Ripple is awesome! Never been a big fan of Spyderco though. I've just gotten tired of looking through pages of black handled knives with silver/black blades.

Spydies are usually a love it or hate it style. The ripple is a good buy if it suits your style, you get a lot for you money with that one.
