as you all know, i recently bought a GEC #25 and a #42 Missouri Trader and i LOVE em. i had no problems finding a pocket sheath for the 25 (GECs product), but im having trouble finding a similar product for my 42. i have became very fond of these knives, but when i carry the 42 i worry about it getting scuffed up in my pocket. does GEC offer a similar product for the larger folders, or do i need to resort to someone else to get what im looking for? id really like a GEC made pocket sheath to match the knife. i carry both in the same pocket, and would prefer not to have to carry the 42 on a belt...it is already cluttered up enough as it is.

can a GEC newb get a little help here?

You mean a "knife purse"? Did you sign the waiver?? http://boseknives.com/BK-Form-100a.pdf ;) Just teasing! Your local sporting goods store or hardware store might have one that'll fit. A Buck "sheath" might be repurposed.

oh no...i love my soddies, but i have never had a folder that just screamed class the way my GECs do. my country cousin is in my front pocket as i type this...no lie

Nothing yet from GEC to handle the large folders,but four of GEC's distributors do carry alternatives that would work ...they''re a more expensive than the slips GEC's makes
 
i have several Buck sheaths that would work, but imo that would be like dropping a Chevy 350 in a '34 Ford coupe. LOL

thanks, thats the answer i was looking for. i wonder why GEC doesnt make something similar to keep the larger GECs from being "dinged up":confused:

and are the products their distributors carry have the GEC name stamped on them?... im assuming no. maybe im picky, but i want to carry my GEC in a pocket sheath labeled GEC. even a GEC labeled belt sheath would seem like a smart addition. darn near every other manufacturer offers a similar product
