Any tanker grey yet?

Out of curiosity has anybody received any tanker grey HRLM or RMD yet? I got my confirmation 3/9 for one of each and am starting to get a little antsy. I started wondering if maybe it's the black linen micarta / tanker grey color combo... so I thought I'd see what everyone else has received.

Not trying to start anything or knock SW or Eric just getting a little antsy every time I see someone else who has gotten their knives and since I can't seem to get any word back from eric via email or pm.

Really looking forward to getting these. My sheaths from steelnut are already in and have exceeded my expectations! :thumbup: to steelnut!

I have both a warden and HRLM in tanker, had them for a while now. pics are somewhere in the "What, no pics?" thread that eric started. how long ago did you order? you gotta be so, so patient with this stuff or it'll turn your hair white.
 
That's BP/Tanker, not Black Linen. Got an RMD like that on order probably near the same time.

Busse is cranking out blades and is getting to these (I fully believe Eric is quite busy) but there are likely SO MANY orders (at these insane prices) that it's taking longer than anticipated to reach them.

Look at what the shop is producing in teh same time - Regulator/Dereg's, Boss Streets, Boss Jack, BWM, Knob, Knobboganza, Blade blades, BCS SAR series's. This is a tough time of year to get steel delivery.
 
I've got a ton of black canvas with tanker gray RMD's on the way. This is the one color combo that they have been working on, hopefully by the end of the week I'll be contacting people for payment info.

Dennis - My post was in no way meant to rip SR or Eric I do know that Bussekin are busy all the way around. And yep that's black canvas not linen sorry.

Eric - Excellent. I really appreciate the update. I know you guys are busy I'm just jonesin' up here.
 
TLR - Never took it that way. Just an observation. I'm always shocked at the volume of blades they turn out in springtime. Almost like Jerry & Crew sober up after a long winter's nap. LOL

LOL. I forgot about Round-2 of Waki's. Wow. You guys are really trying to change the rotational axis of the earth over there. LOL

Is that tanker gray or black blades. It may just be the pictures but they look darker than I was expecting.

Got ya. I was figuring it was the lighting. I was just expecting a gray closer to the photos in monsterdog's photos. I have to say that I'm really jealous. I still would have preferred g10 slabs but I'm happy with the micarta.

Those tan slabs are really starting to grow on me. Didn't think I'd like the gray/tan color combo but monsterdogs pics are converting me.

Whats the deal on the "sage" blade color? Is it really desert tan, or is it green'ish, as the name would imply?
 
Oh sweet day of days. I got the email. They are now paid for and I can't wait to get them. Just thought I'd give everybody a heads up in case anyone else is waiting for this color/combo. Both my HRLM & RMD were both ready by the way.:D

The black mic tanker is a great user combo. The tanker finish is really fine, I think my favorite for use and the black mic gives a nice firm hold. I have a sage/tan mic also and that would be equally nice for a user for the same reasons and is an awesome looking combo. The BP is more showy but yowza! You'll be constantly catching yourself eyeing it if not fondling it. Also the BP super hot looking with the black blade, though I don't like the black blade as much for use. I honestly don't think there is bad combo. The RMD is such a great design you will be as giddy as a school girl with whatever combo you choose.
 
I waited a bit for my Ratmandu, and I had the black linen with tanker gray combo. I think I received them 2-3 weeks ago. They were worth the wait! Very cool. Also got my tanker gray Swamp Warden.

Because I'm waiting about 11 weeks for it and staring to get a bit impatient. I just hope mine will be a part of this actual batch (mentioned here) and it won't take much longer to ship it!

Some has shipped and I'm still waiting on more. Unfortunately yours will be a bit more of a wait. A lot of people early ordered tanker gray, and I'm just going down the line.
