With a blade length of 2.98 inches and a weight of 0.8 oz (23g) it is even lighter than the DF2-LW (37g). With a 0.05 (1.2 mm) thick BD1N blade it won't be a hard user, but what do you want for 23g?

This could be my new LW carry.

Is there another Spyderco that has a better blade length to weight ratio?

ORDERED!

I'll probably get one once they are available. Not something that I would carry regularly, but thats never stopped me from buying a knife before

and fyi, I believe that Eric said in a video that the blade stock is actually 0.065 (1.7mm) because they couldn't get the intended 0.050 (1.2mm) to work. They have not updated the specs on the website yet.

I'm glad Spyderco is offering a <$100 USA made knife

I personally do not notice up to 5 oz in my pocket (what I'm carrying right now) so it makes no sense for me to carry anything much less. I did notice every time I carried my 8 oz ZT 0200 however that thing really was a beast.

Look forward to this design! I’ve come to appreciate lightweight slicers as secondary carry!

Since seeing the Charisma several months ago in an article and then seeing one in person at BladeShow this past year, I’m definitely looking forward to this knife. 4 color combinations make it cool too.

Golden, Colorado made too!

This looks like a winner. I have no issues with bd1N
Actually kinda like getting closer to steels that are easier to work with.

My thoughts: Definitely too small for my hand, but I anticipate it'll soon become a top-seller for Spyderco. I could even see non-knife people looking at it as a nice utility cutter around the home or office. Big potential in the design, I figure.

I like it, but the hole is ridiculously oversized for the blade.

I agree, but for a light duty knife... I don't mind.,

I don't mind a heavy knife when wearing jeans, but when wearing a suit or running shorts the light weight is going to be great.

Its the ultimate picnic knife. I recently purchased a folding victorinox bread knife and I can see the Charisma fitting into the same use.

Too small for my taste. My sweet spot is a blade length of 3.75-4".

I already have an assortment of other small Spydie folders & don't need/want another. 🤷‍♂️
