Hi all,

I have been researching knives and fell in love with the LT Wright knives, especially the Small Nordic Hunter.
I’m looking for a smaller knife that I can take on hikes and light outdoor adventures (canoeing, kayaking) and for light food preps at camp or on my hikes.

I was wondering if anybody has any thoughts on these two knives or the company as a whole? Do they have a sharp spine? Are they ergonomically good? Are they slicey? What do you use them for? Etc.

I don’t find that many reviews on them especially people who used them.

Cheers

LT is a standup company!! They are SUPER people and stand behind their work!!
Excellent choice if you decide to go that route.
Google Carliegh Fairchild!!

I love LT Wright knives. They are solid knives made by solid folks who stand behind their products. I just sold off 5 of them to make room for some other stuff but I kept one and I will be picking up more in the future.

I just got the Frontier First model about a month ago. Top notch fit and finish. Very stout and *sharp*! A little thicker in the spine than I expected but still very *slicey*. Should work for ferro rod use, but I have not tried that yet. I expect to purchase a couple more in different models at some point. My wife seems to like them, she's been hankering for a small fixed blade. I am still getting acquainted with it, but I think anyone who buys one will not be disappointed in the overall quality. For the money, try one. No doubt you can move it along if it doesn't suit you.

I have a Gen 6 and a custom Genisis XL. Both are great knives and both have sharp spines for use with a ferro rod.
