They seem well made to me.
I have Ciabatta, Godson, Godfather, TR3, RUNT, and Magic knives from them. Snappy action in all.
The only let-down is the durability of some of the coatings/finishes Protech uses.
Many compare Protech to Microtech and that seems justifiable. My Microtechs do have more durable coatings/finishes in general.
But as far as reliability goes, it appears to me one has to go out of ones way to make a coil spring with plunger/button lock unreliable. The Ron Miller (I think he was the first to use this design - maybe) design is simplicity in structure.
