Any tips how to make this "Nicker" better ?

i bought this one from www.steirereisen.com
Details:
Steel: 440C
BL: 110mm (4,5")
Grip: Oryx-horn (African Antilope)
Buttplate screwed to tang.
Filework and false edge.

I like it so much, i plan to order a equally second knife,
but with a longer blade: 180 to 220mm (7 to 9")
It will probably have a full flat grind,
any other ideas ?

You already stated the one obvious thing that I would have said - make it full flat grind. Otherwise the handle material is a thing of personal preference. I like the nicker design, I'm still kicking myself for not picking up a nice one while I was in Germany.
