Any tips on carrying a Strider DBL

Get the rest of the outfit and you should be fine. . .

Maybe keeping it in a shoulder (possibles) bag along with whatever other essential items you have (tinder, firestarter etc.). I carry my puukko knives in a simple leather pouch sheath around my neck because I find belt carry very annoying. Unfortunatley that Strider looks a little bit too heavy for that :D
 
no that is funny! Yea its a bit heavy ...well built just wanted to be able to get to it if i needed to.
 
I forgot to add that if you got a little money burning a hole in your wallet and you want a truly spectacular carry system survival sheath systems is the way to go. http://www.survivalsheath.com/flash.htm Strider knives are not supported but you can just mail your knife to him (Info on the order page) .
 
Heavy, and size, is in the eye of the beholder obviously. That knife is so tiny, how can it be heavy?

Having said that, you can attach it flat to the bottom of your pack, with the knife's handle towards your strong hand so you can pull it out quickly if need be. That way no one will see it as you go by, but also it's easy to get at if needed.

If you want to carry it on you, which is a better idea incase you get seperated from your pack atleast you've got your knife, you can carry it IWB. Sheeple won't see it that way, and it's comfortable, and easily accessible.
