I just did sound for a production of "Tomfoolery" which is a musical revue of his songs. His stuff is hilarious. my personal favorite is:

"Vatican Rag" was a popular 1960s drinking song at the larger of our two Catholic universities. "Be Prepared" was the unofficial marching song of my Boy Scout Troop 895.
 
We just saw a staged review of Tom's songs called "Tomfoolery". Clever show, two guys and two girls, with each number staged and costumed.

Great fan of the music....The song about the elements is a classic too.

I get strange looks at NASA whenever I break out in a rousing rendition of Poisoning Pigeons in the Park or The Masochism Tango.....today's rocket scientists just don't understand satire and humor.

Used to listen to him on the Doctor Demento Radio Show on KMET in LA back in the early 70's. Fun stuff.
