Hi, all. I'm new here and was wanting to put myself out there. I am a huge TOPS knives fan. My personal blade is a T1 Tracker. I hope I don't catch a lot of flack for that, being that it has a 50/50 good/bad reputation thus far. Due to the movie The Hunted, I suppose. Anyhow, I love the design and use it as it was intended by the designer, Tom Brown Jr. I'm currently (dabbling) in knife sales and hope to fund my way through Tom's Tracker School.

But, if anyone wants to discuss some TOPS blades or any other manufacturer, I'd be glad to toss in my two cents.

ok, here's my .02 for what it's worth. There have been several designs over the years from TOPS that have really put the hook in me. I currently own the Loner but have had others over the years. The knives themselves are fantastic but the sheaths, imo, stink. I don't know what it is but I can't get used to the kydex with that huge clip on the darn rubber turret they use. A couple of their designs would be on my purchase list if they just came with a good leather sheath. Or a better kydex for the smaller/tac blades. The knives themselves are great. The Loner now takes up permanent position in my excursion where it rides right under the steering wheel. You can't see it easily from any position except sitting in the drivers seat. Again just my two cents.

They do have some designs that are not very appealing. The majority of their knives are very well made at a reasonable price. Best of all, "Made in the U.S.A"

This looks pretty sweet

Some of their designs are a bit "out there" for me, but the quality of them, from the ones I've had, was solid.

IME, their sheaths could be better.
