I happened across Deep South Cutlery. They show some neat knives in their shorts. Anyone here know of interesting knife content on youtube?

Quite a few actually. Knife Chats with Tobias and New Again Knife Reviews are just a couple I check out occasionally.

Stefan Schmalhaus from Germany has made a number of excellent reviews of European and American Traditionals. His videos are properly prepared, articulate - no er, er, hi guys, er like awesome.. and repeating himself- informative and well filmed. But, he hasn't made any new ones for some years as he ran out of motivation perhaps? Well worth a look

There is also Felix Immler, if you are interested in Vic/Werner SAK's.

I believe he has three channels covering various aspects, from modding to comparisons, and "hidden" uses of the various tools.
(An example of the latter: Did you know? You can use the "Package Hook" in conjunction with the split ring to use a "T" shank jigsaw blade, for the times the wood/bone saw is not the correct saw for the task*?
He also tells where small high strength magnets from 3 to 5 mm diameter can be stored in the knife, and where extra side tools fit on the 111 and larger models, and how to open "hidden"/closed side tool slots in factory scales.

(*need to cut metal, sheets/rod/tube, the SAK saw is too short for the branch or wooden handrail, etc.)

I enjoy HobieonYouTube, but he's pretty much focused on scout knives and other similar knives and hasn't been uploading much in awhile.
His content holds my interest and I get to learn about a category of traditional knives that I don't have an extensive familiarity with.

I don't watch a lot of traditional knife content on YouTube otherwise, because I'm very opinionated and I haven't found anybody on YouTube with a similar enough of an outlook or approach to traditional knives that I'd enjoy watching.

I'm not subscribed and only see what occasionally pops up into my feed, but Felix Immler is interesting to me, basically nothing on his channel applies to me but it interesting and entertaining.

The easiest is to put specific terms in the search line of YouTube or search google with xxxx/youtube

I have watched the Knife Doctor more or less since the beginning. I was one of his first subs, but I kinda fell off as he is certainly prolific in his content, and I just don't care to watch hours and hours of Youtube content these days. He posts up a new video nearly every day. Also, he's something of a controversial figure amongst Traditionals fans, since a lot of his videos have him refurbishing old classic knives he finds at pawn shops, knife swaps, antique stores, etc. He will put on new scales, polish and sharpen blades, and essentially remove most of the patina (and rust, and broken scales, and other grot). In earlier videos, he would do mechanical work such as knocking out pins, replacing blades, repinning, etc.

Also, he actually was instrumental in getting a new yearly knife show going in his town in Georgia, so to me, that's pretty cool. Say what you want about the guy, but getting your own Traditional knife show stood up because there wasn't one near you? That's awesome. He even had an event knife made by Bear & Son, if I recall.

He calls himself the Knife Doctor because as he sees it, he's "saving the lives of old knives". I myself have searched out and bought several knives that I didn't know existed, after seeing them on his channel.

Yes, it is a huge bummer that Stefan has stopped making videos, but his old ones are definitely worth watching. And he wrote a great book, of which I have a copy.

I watched a few videos from a bloke that goes by "Slipjoint Sawyer", he's got some interesting stuff. However, lately he's been doing a bit too much content that looks like Rosecraft adverts and I swear there's a "Why traditional slipjoints are better than modern folders" video on his channel every two weeks. Other than that, the restoration stuff is cool.

If you speak Spanish (and I'm pretty sure that English subs are available) Eugenio Monesma's channel has a couple of cool documentaries showing how different traditional Spanish knives are made, both folding and fixed blade.

Paddy's Potato Peelers has a bunch of videos on slipjoints.

I've seen some videos of a channel the guy calls "Pocket Knife Therapy". He has a lotto very interesting old pocket knives.

A few favorites I haven't seen mentioned yet:
Slipjoint Display
Paddys potato peelers
Richters Knives
Jersey Knife Guy

There's a lot out there

Baxters Blades
Rusty Miner
RJ's Knives
Kyle Noseworthy

Searching for a specific pattern (e.g., "muskrat" or "Buck 301" or "Case Copperlock") will turn up a lot of videos. You can look through them, click on the channel names, and decide who has good content.

YouTube cold use “that guy” for traditional pocket knives. Someone that knows the history and has a bunch of old knives so they can educate and inform. It’s easy enough to learn about new stuff. Not saying Rosecraft or new GEC stuff isn’t worthy but I am personally more interested in the old stuff. I wish there was a guy with thousands of knives that would systematically go over them Ben Stein style.

So basically I want a unicorn 😂. Catch bit podcast level knowledge but on YouTube.
