Any Tyrade owners?

Been carrying my orange 1850 all week and lovin it. Might swap it out for my Ti 1850 next week.

I've had a black G10 Tyrade for a few years now.It is one great knife but why would one expect any less from Kershaw.

I have the black G10 myself. Excellent knife for just about anything. I can't say enough good things about it. Locks up great, D2 is excellent, and the material that clads the D2 is better than a lot of steels used on most blades. The design is as close to a ZT as you can get (build-wise) without their distinctive ZT designs.

Although it works hard, I use it sparingly since there are no more, and I only take it where I know it won't get used for something other than a cutting instrument, and only by me. That job goes to my JYDII combo, which is another excellent piece of cutlery. I don't spare that one for any reason and it has exceeded any expectations I had.

If you can get your hands in a Tyrade, do it!

Yes, I have a desert tan in my collection, what a strong well built knife, sorry that it is no longer available. I thought that might happen when I bought mine, (the discontinuing)

Orange, Back and Tan. No TI. All of the Tyrades had a death sentence hanging over their head from the start. Guess that is how limited production works.

Got both a Ti and Orange G10. Looking at e-bay I wish I'd bought a few more of the G10s.

I've got a Ti. I love it. It is still part of the regular EDC rotation.

I have 3. A ti, tan and black.

I got the ti nib from Kershawguy this summer, the black used and the tan nib. I got the balck & tan this summer too. I use and carry all of them.

I wasn't buying Kershaw's when the Tyrade came out. I could have bought a couple of mine cheaper if I was into Kershaws back in '08.
