Any upcoming Military sprints?

OK - discussions recently have been heavily on knives like Shaman, Manix, and Delica. It would be great if I can score a new sprint Military by Xmas time. Maybe denim micarta scales and K390 or 4V steel? Liner lock would be fine with me. Yeah I know men can dream.

Denim micarta, and any tool steel or CPM 154. I would but instantly.

I could even go for a recycled canvas micarta. Might get some interesting one-of-a-kind looks! Like the cut of your tool steel jib* also. I’ll stir the pot with LCN as a metal.

Tangent: please offer the Waterway in bright handle colors/zome - need to have it stand out when I drop it in the water.

LCN200N did not impress me in the Mules, but I live a thousand miles from an ocean, so corrosion resistance is pretty low on my priority list. I'm still hoping for Maxamet in the Millie.
 
Well there’s some pretty big hints over at the Spyderco forum of the military 2 getting close to materializing..
 
I did not go through all the posts there but it seems Military 2 will be with compression lock? If so I have mixed feeling. Honestly I am more interested in blade steel, handle material, and adding tip-up carry by redesigning/removing the huge lanyard hole.
 
Keep the Military the same. Tip down only. Just new steel as needed. Looking forward to

But whatever comes out I'll buy it, but if I can be picky id love to see more framelocks. I personally don't want the Millie to change. I love the linerlock/framelock. I love that its tip down. Its my favorite knife Model I've ever owned. Sal, you can please the market with a Military two and change what you want but keep making this current model for us knuts.

I agree add tip up carry. Some more handle materials would be cool too but that tip up carry....mmmmhhmmm
 
I will never, ever understand why people want tip up on the millie. The military is too long a knife to benifit from it. The way it currently is the spydie hole is directly at your thumb when pulling it out the pocket. If it was tip up you would pull it out, then have to re-adjust and climb your fingers up towards the hole to open it due to the militarys handle length.

It takes up a lot of the pocket opening when its tip down making it hard to get my hand into my pocket, tip up I think would fix that.
