  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Any Upcoming Paramilitary 2 Sprints or Exclusives?

There is currently a foliage green G-10 PM2 with Elmax blade sprint run at Bento Box Shop for $199. Not sure if any other sprints are in the works right now.

I remember reading on here that Spyderco wasn't planning on doing anymore Para 2 sprints. They could always announce one down the road, but sounds like they have enough new stuff on their plate.

I remember the same, posted by Sal. The way it was worded didn't rule out existing sprints or exclusives already in the production pipeline, though, so it's hard to say that something like the FG Elmax exclusive couldn't pop up some time.

It's strictly a supply and demand thing. The average knife enthusiast only needs one or two black PM2's, but would also buy an orange one, a green one, a gray one, ... If the supply/demand situation ever changes and Spyderco is looking for how to sell more knives you can bet that they will produce more Sprints. They sell so fast that it's almost like printing money.

I think the issue right now is that the Golden plant is completely (over-)maxed out on production capacity.

Is the fluted CF para considered a sprint already "in the pipeline?"

Also, Bento Box Shop has ordered more blue m390 paras (maybe late this year) in addition to the current elmax exclusive.

But notice BBS's update on expected delivery of the (third run of the) blue M390s.
