Any updates on the Topo Meridian?

For me, the Topo Meridian was a "must have" from the moment that I first laid eyes on it. I've had one on order since the first week of June, the month when they were first suppose to be made available to the public. But the launch date has been pushed back until "later 2005". Does anybody have a clue when the new launch date is going to be, and why the delay?

We have run into some unexpected delays with the Topo Meridian. We want to make sure it is just right and will not release the product until then. Because of these unforeseen delays the release of the knife has been pushed back until end of September or the Beginning of October. I apologize for the delay but I am sure you will think it is worth it once you see the knife.
