Any use and opinions on Spyderco Michael Walker ZDP-189 C22CFPE

I moved this to General Knife Discussion -- the Walker Spyderco isn't what we consider traditional. It is an excellent pattern for utility, office work, daily carry. Self defense is a different subject. You might like to go to Practical Tactical and read threads on knives for self defense.

Closed it's about as long as your pinky finger so it is not a very suitable self defense knife. I don't like to think of any knife as a self defense knife except for a last resort anyway. Esav nailed it. It's a gentlemen's carry more than anything.

I have one and it is one of my favorite knives. Carries easy, lock solid, cuts well.

Have a look at Nemo´s review: here

Thank you JD. ;-)
The C22 is in its last sprint run one of my best push cutting knife.
It's really an impressive cutting micro machine.
Many of my bigger knives are put to shame.
Cheers.

Might be the best knife on the planet, I've used a lot of knifes, made many of them, use many steels, This is really all you ever need if you had only one choice, IMHO

Awesome knife, favorite smaller folder and performs way above it's size. I have two (needed a spare). QC was a bit hit and miss on these (CF around the screws mostly). Not an issue for me; even though the grind is a bit off on one it doesn't affect function.
