Any use for dished Sharpmaker rods?

I got a Sharpmaker that I've been using for a while, and the coarse rods are pretty dished out. Gonna order a new pair, but anyone find a use for dished rods? I was thinking about leveling them out, but then I realized that they wouldn't maintain the same angle anymore then.

Mine ended up the same way, so I just broke them into pieces to use as small pocket stones.

Or, like the previous poster said, snap them in half and hide them places, car, truck, bug out bag. you never know when you might find a use for an extra stone.

Keep them for your serrated edges, if you have any.
