Good afternoon friends. My mom has been sewing for a long time, and wants to start selling online. I thought of Etsy but last I know they charge whether the item sells or not. What are some options (other than the obvious ones of eBay, Amazon or Shopify)? Is there a community/forum like ours but for the type of stuff she makes?

Thanks!

Etsy rates are as follows. You pay .020 per listing and 5% plus .025 per sale. It's highly recommended that you add another link such as Pinterest or instagram. It's very easy to set up a shop there. Advertising fees are extra.

That actually doesn't sound terrible...

If your Mom is on social media, Facebook has a very nice Marketplace which doesn't charge anything at all. It tends to be local, though. She may also consider joining a forum like we have this one for knives, but for what she does.

Guys, Mom says thanks. :)
