Am I the only fan ? :) I don't see a lot of talk about his knives, and have read all the older posts that I could find. I just this year started collecting knives and his are on my list. I've got a Model 2 and a Micro Model 2. Both seem like fine knives and I have no problems EDCing them. I work in an office so I sort of like the flashier, dressier type knifes. They tend not to scare the sheep as much.

That is a nice knife, sorry to hear that it was lost. I take it you never found it ?

^ I assume it has not been recovered as I haven't received any reports.

We post lost/stolen knives on our CKCA "Lost/Stolen Knife Bulletin" sub-forum to alert the knife community to be on the look-out for these knives. We will also place flyers/photos of these knives on our booth table at knife shows. Just services that we offer the knife community.

ive read a lot about these knives they have great reviews. im in the process of saving the funds to get one only one more week. and @ kevin jones that warren thomas collaboration with strider knife is just pure awesome sex appeal. thats one of the warren thomas models i want along with a model 2.5 with the spear point im going to order a model 2.5 tanto and see if warren will custom the thumb stud post into a thumb hole i think it looks way better. if you want to know how i like it just send me a message in about a month or so or a friend request.

cw_mi, I have admired his work for a while now, but still haven't stepped up to the custom world. You said you EDC his blades regularly.. I was wondering what the blades on your edc's are, I have often wondered how the G10 / welded carbon fiber compares to a conventional premium stainless or a carbon steel. Love those blades, especially his friction folders, you sir, have my envy.. they seem like good edc blades and VERY light.. so... how do they cut and can they be sharpened easily? sorry if this is a stupid question.. thanks -hayes btw, Kevin Jones, really sorry to hear that.. Dante would have put a tenth circle his inferno... Best of luck with the stolen goods bulletins.

/= I used to be, he had some unique and good stuff and nice designs.......then he decided to start working with mantis now I will never see him the same

I mostly collect Balisong knives, but recently added these two WT pieces to my collection. The top one is a "Rhino" with a non-standard stainless steel blade (not the usual Ti). The other piece is a Ti pry-bar, which one could call a "NYC Shoe Horn " (I made that up because carrying a blade in NYC is a no-no).

@julian hayes. the blade has carbite on the edge of the one side for a super edge retention altough once the titanium of the blade wears down it will still cut decent because of the carbite but feel a lil sawish you need something with diamond in it to sharpen because the hardness on carbite is 80 something and diamond is 90. from the knives im looking at by warren the one scale is all carbon fiber not g10 and the other scale is all titanium with one huge stand off and pivot and the blade is titanium with carbon fiber laminate and a carbite edge. i think that do to the "urban camo" on the blade and handle i think his knives look a lil futuristic for some. id like him to put out some with diff colors or regular colors i.e. steeladdictions.com have a lot of pics of what id like to see him put out.

@chipped karambit when did he collaborate with mantis? and are there pics of their work id like to see. why dont you like that he started work with them. ive seen his other collaborations i.e. with strider looks amazing.
