Any way to determine blade steel?

I have an XM-18 3.5 I bought used on the exchange a while back. Lightly used, I'm the third owner, but I have no idea what year it was originally made.
Is there any way to know what kind of blade steel is used? There are no marks on the blade, so can't figure it out that way. The web site says it can be "Duratech 20CV (59-60 HRC), Carpenter CTS-XHP (60-61 HRC), CPM-S35VN (60-61 HRC)."

I believe, when it's not marked on the blade, the steel used is Duratech 20CV,,, correct me if I'm wrong,,,
