I found a SA Wetterlings axe head today at a swap meet and can't seem to find any information on it anywhere. It is a 3 1/2 lb double bit with the S A W markings on it, as well as Sweden and Drop Forged under the logo. It measures about 9 1/2 inches long and about 4 3/4 inches on the blades. Anyone know how rare it is and what it may be worth? I couldn't find anything in my multiple website searches. Any info is greatly appreciated! :) The link below is two of the pictures I took this afternoon.

If you could provide pictures that would certainly make it easier. I don't know when they changed their logo from S A W to Wetterlings, I own a splitting maul that dates back to -74 if the previous owner is telling me the truth, and it got the S A W logo.

Nice find! Unfortunately I can't tell you anything about that axe, I have no info on double bits from Wetterlings.

Thanks!! I got it for a great price too. Just wish I knew more about it, hopefully someone out there knows more about it then I do.
