any word on new manufacters

Any word on producers other than BM, like the rumor that one of the knife sellers on this forum was looking into thier own production or the possible MT ot any others.

Mike Turber had plans for one....supposedly the project is going along nicely.

Several other large named manufacturers had some plans making balis too...

Seriously, I have talked to several major manufacturers about entering this market. I treat each one with absolute confidence. I have not even told any one about the others. So, I'm not saying a word here.

Why the secrecy? Simple. A knife company explores many ideas for new products. If they toy with idea of a balisong and word gets out that they're gonna do it and then they decide not to, well that will leave a lot of disappointed, maybe even jaded or bitter folks. That could hurt their reputation and even sales of their other products.

Discussions about potential new products are always the most confidential and I never share them unless specifically authorized to.

I also talk to custom makers frequently about possible entry into the balisong market. Several are considering it. A couple have definite plans. One or two are working on prototypes. Who? What? When? I'll never tell for just the same reasons. If they decide not to do it, that's fine and I don't want anyone thinking of them as "the guy who back out of balisongs."

Well i believe that if there's a person to push the balisong cause, to the production and custom knife makers, you're the one.
Although you'll also be the one we would blame.
