Any word on RMJ Forge?

I have been waiting since last April (2002) for a paid in full axe.
I have talked to Ryan several times and he insured me that the axe was finished (Nov, Dec), I have not yet received anything.

He has been a great guy to talk to and I understand that art takes time.

I was just wondering if anyone has any info on what is going on with one of the best tomahawk craftsmen around.

I've been waiting since last January. I've been promised several completion/delivery dates,they've all come and gone. Each time he's told me the tomahawk was in various stages of completion and how pleased he was with the results. He's got at least three tomahawks laying around in his shop per my order or he's never even started my order.

His answering e-mails has been spotty at best and since mid December he hasn't answered any e-mail from me. I've called him several times no answer I leave a messages on the anwering machine. His dad answered the first of this month with a promise Ryan would call back. Again no response. I'm just glad I only put down a 50% deposit.

Sorry to hear that Stoneage. I know he has had some illness in the family so I definitely want to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I have called 3 times in the last 2 weeks and sent 2 emails. No response to either.

Kind of unfortunate as I was really looking foward to placing my order with Ryan and RMJ, but if there is this much non-contact going on, it makes me feel real uneasy about placing an order. Sucks to, cause the Talon is a great looking hawk and I was real interested in the Crash axe...

At least with Two Hawks(I love his stuff and I'm gonna place an order soon) he trys to answer his e-mails and post to the forum in regards to status and ordering.

I am so glad ATC opened a custom shop...there making some wicked variants!...

Now I'm gonna have to get my friend whos a cop and have him order me a Crash Axe, since there the only people Ryan is taking orders from...I understand why...

Maybe I'll get lucky with a dealer...
