Any word on scales for the ZT0550?

Mr. Hinderer had mentioned he would be offering replacement scales for the ZT/ Hinderer 0550. Any update on this? I would love some brown or orange myself, anything but black!

the only scales ive heard happening are the ones for the zt 0560 and 0561 directly from hinderer.

I love the texture of the scale on my 551, but would like other options with the same "cuts". Feels super grippy even compared to frags.

I know this isn't the ZT forum, but the 551 is an incredible knife.

I'm getting pretty close on the handle scale offerings for the o550/0551 !! As for this new flipper..i'm not sure..we havent gotten that far yet! haha would be cool tho!

All of the colors are available, if you hit the down arrow next to the color it will pop up all of the available colors.

Hate to be an idiot, but there is no down arrow that I can see. Only gives an option to add to cart.

Could one of you members please check the Hinderer website and tell me if you are able to select a color for the replacement 0551 handle? There is no arrow to click on to show the available colors on the page being displayed on my computer. Been trying to order one all day!

Yes there is still an arrow and all colours come up. Are you using Internet Explorer? I used to have such problems once in awhile before I switched to Firefox.

Also checked. There is an arrow, and the only color I don't see on the list is yellow.

I finally got it to work, but I had to add the ACU to cart, then click on the picture, which took me to another page which add the selection arrow. Add the color I wanted, then had to delete the ACU. I have never had a problem like this ever. Dont know if it is my computer or their server, but something is not right.

No issues, just use two sizes of torx bits to remove screws and replace scale, plug and play.

are they hard to replace? any problems.....
