Anybody able to answer this question?

A blurb on CNN yesterday said that China has approved U.S. fighter escorts for AF-1 over their territory. That would pretty well indicate "round trip" air cover.
 
I hope so too! I heard that the terrorists actually had the comm. codes for AF-1 and the NSA comm. sattelite codes:eek: IOW, they knew when and where AF-1 was going to be! And God knows what else:eek: :eek:
 
Some of the terrorists are very brainy and well educated guys. They are not all uneducated and ignorant. I don't think we should ever underestimate them in any capacity.
 
..are very close-held, and vary according to a computer-controlled algorhythm. The operational procedures work along entirely different lines, and are controlled elsewhere. Just having the codes (if possible) isn't enough, and tryng to use them, as Elmer says, can be "vewy vewy dangewous" - to the user.

I can't imagine the president flying without fighter escorts, especially in wartime...and it is to China
 
I donn't know about fighter escorts, but I keep hearing about this great fishing hole called Lake Afghanistan.:rolleyes: Yeah, they have these fish that glow in the dark.;) :p
 
after 35 radiation treatments, I can positively state that glowing in the dark ain't all bad - especially when you wake up in the middle of the night and have to find the plumbing in a hurry :D
 
Me, I just want to kill terrs! Would love to introduce one to one of my K's! Gurk's & Spec Ops are going to have all the up close & pers. fun! A few I know would love to meet BL professionally ,of course!

I am almost positive the the Pres. wouldn't fly anywhere without an escort... I think that is one of the conditions of him flying to an overseas location...

But I could be wrong... I get my information from the movies :D . Bush is good, but he ain't Harrison Ford :D:D:D

Seriously...

I am just a little too concerned for his saftey on this trip. It is too good of an opportunity for the terrs not to take a shot at it. Let's pray and send up smoke that it doen't end successfully if they do. Not to mention the safety of the SS detail and other LEOs involved...
