I've got a NIB orange dodo on the way and I'm stoked! I've never handled one, but I've always loved the design and wanted one. I usually carry two knives...one large and one small. Right now I edc a dragonfly salt and for larger blade I alternate a se pacific salt and a ti Military. I am planning to alternate the dodo with my dragonfly as my smaller knife. Any one have and use the dodo? Thoughts?

For me, I had a user, but didn't do well with the recurve hook bill. Sold it. Then missed it terribly, got another, and now it's an awesome show piece. One knife i will never ever part with again! And never sell. . Really a masterpiece in my eyes

Hmm, I'm hoping there's at least someone out there that likes the dodo for an everyday user. I want to believe the design will make for a good edc cutting tool. I guess I'll find out soon. :)

I like mine, it was a gift from a teacher. He knew I was looking for one and gave me his. It's serrated, which woud not have been my first choice, but I like it a lot nonetheless. It isn't the most versatile cutting tool, which I guess is a common trait of most hawkbills, but it is really effective for pull cuts.

Ergos are great for such a small knife.

In my case, it's also a back-up SD tool. The traction cutting techniques I practice with kerambits translate very well to the Dodo.
