Anybody doing "axe mods"...?

Just picked up a Granfors Bruks Double-Bit felling axe - what a BEAST!

Thinking of having the head satin'd up a bit...do some enhancements on the haft...and hangin' it on the wall

Any one know who might be up for a"spit shine" detail of a big-arse axe?

Why not pick up some sand paper and make a project out of it? You're talking about removing the forge finish and satining up the whole head? Interesting idea..

Understandable! Those folks boggle my mind.. the little lady is an artist and she can paint / draw better than I can think hah
