Well, I've carried mine for 3 or 4 days now, and I've decided that it really is "all that and a bag of chips." Everything I'd hoped for and expected. Great ergos. Solid lockup. Discreet carry. Kickass G-10 scales. Quite possibly the sharpest out-of-box knife I've ever bought. No touch ups necessary.

It's become obvious I'm buying at least one more to put back for my boy. I may even get another to put back for me.
 
I do believe that the Caly3 is the first knife ever that I feel I must have at least 2 of. I will be picking up another one. I love this knife!!

Yea, I'm taking Rat's! I'm getting a PE for the carry rotation, and I'll probably get an SE to beat the crap out of.
 
Is this a limited run? I was under the impression it was full production...have I been sleeping?

That shipment was gone within hours. (I snagged one of them.) They probably have gotten in more since then, however.
 
Depends on how I like that first one:D Gotta get one first to find out. Emailed a vendor yesterday to find out about availability up here. For me, it would probably be two - a PE and an SE one.

No, they're all gone. If it's full production, I'll give it a month and try again.
 
Don't sell the serrated ones short, fellas. There are plenty available and you should have one of these to accompany your plain edge version.

Once I get my PE Caly from NGK, I'll probably order another... although I really should save my ducats for something original like a blk Lum tanto.
 
Just got mine from NGK, love it. I like the fact that the handle is not as wide, makes a nice pinch grip for delicate cutting/whittling much easier for those of us with medium sized hands.

One *really* nice feature (thanks Sal) is leaving the spine square! Now I have a really good folder that I can carry into the woods! This baby should really spark my firesteels!
