I got mine about 6 months ago. I've kind of gotten addicted to using it. I've bought 2 SKS's (a Albainain + a Yugo), 3 Molsin-Nagants, a German Mauser, a CZ-52 and maybe more but I can't remember anything else right now.

I've been wondering if anyone else here has one?

How do you get one? Here's a website you may enjoy, BTW: http://www.surplusrifle.com/

(P.S. - Love the avatar)

It's pretty simple actually. All you have to do is go to the ATF website and print the forms(3 pages). Fill them out and take a copy to your CLEO usally that's the sheriff. Then send the original +$30 to the ATF. It takes 4-6 weeks to come back. There are a few rules that you have to keep in mind. You have to keep a bound book to keep track of what you buy. I got mine off the internet. You can only buy approved C&R guns. You can't buy guns with the intent of selling them for a profit. I know of guys that buy 5 at a time and pick the best 1-2 and sell the rest. My understanding is that, that is OK sinse you may decide to keep them all. There are other rules, but nothing that would be considered crazy. Some states are a little strict on them. In fact NJ is so strict that it's really a waste of time and $30 to get it.
The best part is you can shop at websites, on-line auctions or trade with other C&R holders. And the guns come right to your door. It's the best $30 I spent in a while!!!!!!!!!!!

I have one, although it is next to useless here in KALI :( here you can't have handguns (C&R) shipped directly to you and you have to get a 2nd form (COE) from the state for an additional $80.00 The only good thing about having the 2 forms (COE & C&R) here in communist CA is that it exempts you from the 1 gun per 30 days rule and the stupid handgun safety demonstrations required by law

I have one. I've had my C&R for about two years. I haven't bought that much with it. So far I've bought a M48 Mauser, K31 Schmidt Rubin, Steyr M95, two Turkish Mausers, and two 1895 Nagant revolvers. Next purchase will either be a Lee Enfield Mark 4 or a 91/30 Mosin Nagant.

$30 for a 3 year license is a great deal if you buy a lot of old rifles or handguns.

I'd go for the MN 91/30. The one I got from SOG is a sweet shooter and it's one of the best looking MN's that I have.
