anybody else purchased a spydie adventura?

i have one and i really like it but it has a little vert blade play so i tightened the pin a little and its still there but not as noticeable but the blade is a little stiffer to get back and forth. Anybody else had this problem......oh yea...those ss handles sure do scratch up easily!! Its like holding a scalpel though!!

Hi Paul,
I really like how Adventura looks and was keeping my eye on posts about it. It was already couple people saying about this play. So I desided to wait a few month, may be Spyderco will make some changes to improove it.

A little vertical play is normal in lockbacks, and it should not affect the cutting ability or lock up of the knife at all. I am pretty sure I have a bit of play in all of my lockbacks.

Scratches aren't bad; they're good because they give the knife character.
