Anybody else refuse to strip their bk2 despite having it look like this?

I went on a backpacking/camping trip this past weekend and did some serious wood chopping/batoning. Now the Bk2 looks like this.

As ugly as it looks now for some strange reason I really don't want to strip it. Does anybody else have a seriously worn out Bk2 that is left unstripped? Post some pics! :D

i dont but yours looks BA man. looks like its been through hell and back. battle scars

strippers. easily undressed, but a slinky black re-dressing is easy enough

paint it green. use it.

then paint it orange. use it.

other colors/etc. should get interesting...

That finish is like kids man, proof it got used.

Keep it.

Looks good but now its time to strip it and show its true self.......

Nope I had her pants off on the first date.... the knife too. I'll be here all week, try the chicken it's delicious and don't forget to tip your waitress ;)

I like the coating. I like it as it disappears, piece by piece.

Wow, that is the worst cellphone photo ever taken. Need to fix that shtuff.

Thanks guys, the amount of wear has gone to the point where it doesn't look so pretty anymore but as some of you said it has character now (lots of it). I used it to chop enough wood to keep the fire burning for 7 hours. Love this knife.

That's the look of experience. Appears used but not abused. Would be a shame to remove the rest of the coating on purpose!

Let it wear off and show even more experience.

Mine aren't nearly as worn as yours but I do like that look. That's pure character there. Here's my BK2 and BK9 (since you asked for pics)...

You are stripping that BK-2, it's just in slow motion, like a good stripper should. It's also a performance art, one side looks like a mushroom cloud, and the other looks like a rain cloud over the ocean. Just keep going.

I refuse to strip mine, although it doesn't look that bad yet. More feathering.
