So I was noticing that my minigrip had bad blade play, but if I rotated the axis lock/bar it would eliminate play. Then after a few opening cycles it would have play again. So I broke down the knife to investigate and this is what I see.
Sorry for the camera phone pic but if you look very closely you can see an indention on the lock bar. It looks like the blade has worn down the bar in one spot. The blade tang fits perfectly in the indention. So you think that's what it is? Has anybody else ever had this? I do flick my knife open quite a bit and this knife is about 5 or 6 years old. Its a 440c blade version. It has been my primary edc for a while so it sees heavy use. Thanks.
