anybody ever heard of Haller?

I just got this bali that is similar to the 5" kris/wave blade rostifri that most of you probably have seen before. Mine however has STAINLESS STEEL over HALLER on the tang. It also has a double edged blade which I think differs from the rostifrei version. So, have any of you seen a Haller before? I have opinions but would like to hear from any of you first...

I had one knife very much like a silver wave Rostfrei, but also with exactly the same tang marking. Geez, this post brings back memories.

My best guess is that it is the same production as Rostfrei, but from older era and with more care put into it .. the newer one mostly are thinner blades with less accute grind. What I have now is the newer version ..

By the way, where did you get it from, it looks really nice ..

I got it off ebay for really cheap (gotta love that "buy it now" option).

It had the crappy two piece compression fit type pins which of course broke on me after two flips. I've already repinned it and installed a better tang pin. Not my best work, but atleast its not in pieces anymore...
