Anybody ever polished the scales on a Cold Steel folder?

I have a cold steel Ak47 that I've stripped and polished out. It looks dang good but the scales are still cold steel rough and IMO don't match the polished look. So my question is besides the typical under the clip mod has anyone polished the g10 out on one? Want to get an idea before I do it to see if I like it.




My apologies if I posted in the wrong place please move if desired. Please no Cold Steel bashing.
 
I just used 400 grit on both slabs and under the clip some epoxy smoothed out. Worked fine although now I am carrying a Sebenza.
