This weekend at the Florida show, a Microtech dealer there had a most unusual knife. It was a Microtech Halo, big deal you say, yes, but this thing was TINY, yet there was no doubt, it was a perfect, miniature version of the full size HALO 3. I would estimate its length open to be about 2.5", the blade was probably an inch, maybe an inch and a quarter, and the handle's width across maybe .25". It could easily be worn as a pendant, id be surprised if it weighed more than one ounce. It also had a damascus blade. I have to admit, it was VERY cool, a HALO pendant on a chain would be a pretty nifty piece of jewelery. Anybody know anything about this mini-Halo? He wanted $1400 for it!

Megalobyte, There were 80 of the Micro Mini Halo produced.
1 Brend satin
11 Brend mirror
68 Damascus.

$1400/$1450 was the going price a few years ago. You may be able to find one for $1250 to $1300 if you are lucky. This is a lot of $ unless you are a diehard MT collector.

Thanks to everyone for the pictures and info, it is appreciated. No, i can think of several knives i would buy before i plunked down $1400 for a mini-HALO, though, if $ wasnt an issue, id get it and wear it as the world's coolest pendant. :D
