Anybody ever sharpened their CS Hideout??

dont own one. is it like the boot knife. chisel ground. if so i sharpen the one side and take the burr off the flat side and then do the other sharpened side, etc. normally there is a bit of a microbevel on most. so flat on stone doesnt really work so well. i dont know this exact knife though?

thats how i do chisel typically.

The Hide Out is ground on both sides, but it has "zero" edges. I put a tiny bevel on each edge of mine (not exactly small enough to be a true micro bevel) at 25* per side and can touch it up on my Lansky Master's Edge rod system at the same angle. That would be my advice. Otherwise, yes, you'd have to sharpen it like a Scandi, laying the whole bevel on your stone.
