Anybody ever strip a Busse sword?

I just stripped my AK I like it a lot. Not quite done though, I took rough sandpaper to it to get rid of the "decarb" layer, still need to do the handles and get some higher grit sandpaper to finish it up.

I really want to see a stripped Gladius. When (not if) I get one I might strip it. Its become one of my favorite finishes
If someone has a stripped Busse/kin sword, you need to post it!



I also stripped my MO Meaner, but same with it, needs to be finished up. I have a same-thickness-and-grind stripped Active Duty and I wanted a matching pair. I'll snap some pics of the pair later.

lol yea that's why I did it, to get that worn type of look. I've used the heck out of it and on this particular one the coating was chipping away and not streaking and I didn't like it, so I decided to just strip it.
