Anybody ever swapped tools in a Leatherman?

I have a Wave which I edc and love. I have a Wingman which is nice. The nicest thing about the Wingman is the tool which is designed for use opening blister packs. That is one of the most useful tools one can have on an EDC these days. I'd like to move that blade to the Wave and swap it with something. It seems more or less like it would fit. Might be a little hard to pull out as the little tab that serves as a nail nick is in a different place but that could be dealt with.

Has anybody ever move tools around like that on a Leatherman? Will the thing go back together and be as good as new? With that little tool on my Wave, it'd be perfect for size and function. I'd probably ditch the simple flat screwdriver.

I've taken a few apart, the end with the lock is easy to swap things out as long as thicknesses and pivot hole are good.

The pliar end... Jeesh lol getting the washers to sit still and everything to line up is a freaking pain.

Just my 2¢.

Well it would be the lock end. I am considering instead of taking the screwdriver out either modifying it or perhaps doing a bit of a mod on the can opener to do the same thing!

Should be good then, let us know how it goes.. I have random leatherman parts laying around. If you need something, I can see if I got it.

Wouldn't be nothing to toss it in the mail.
