I've been looking at Orvis' various cargo pants lately. They're very pricey, and I was wondering if anyone had tried them out and thought them worth the price.

Haven't tried the cargo pants, but have purchased vests, shirts, jackets, etc. Very high quality products - and outstanding customer service! :)

Ditto what the roach said. They make great stuff that tends to be on the pricey side. They really stand behind their clothing and equipment too. Gret company!

agree with the above comments...orvis is one of my favorite clothing makers...expensive but worth it...

I have their pants and their shorts, and I love them. Pricey, but well made, durable, and Orvis customer service has been very very good to me when I have called.....no problems there.
Two thumbs up from me!

I'd give them FIVE thumbs-up! ;) A few years ago, a suede jacket that I ordered went back and forth five times (for various reasons) - and Orvis paid cheerfully for shipping each time. Before the final return, I called them and insisted that I pay for the shipping myself. Their response: "I'm sorry, but we can't allow that. We want you to be 100% satisfied and we'll do whatever it takes to make that happen."

Oh, and each time I dealt with the SAME person in CS. What a treat.

Am I an Orvis fan? For life. :)
