Anybody familiar with the quality of this Boker Bud Nealy?

While I've never seen nor handled this model, from what I've read and heard of Bud's work (I did scrutinize most all his customs on his table at Atlanta a couple of years ago before choosing his Bodyguard model, handled in ebony...a hard decision to make, believe me!) you won't go wrong with any of his customs or any officially authorized collaborations IMO!! I'd stop just short of betting my life that this piece has a full tang under the handle coating and although the steel isn't spec'd out beyond "Solingen, stainless" I feel confident it's more than adequate for its intended purpose.

The quality is what you'd expect for the money. I've seen a couple. The handle is molded plastic and could have used some more finishing. The blade is very light. Any stabbing motion would run the risk of your hand moving up the blade. It was sharp. If you want a Bud Nealy piece from a commercial source, the folding Pesh Khabz from CRKT is a better product and more value for the same or less money, but it is a folder.
