This is our favorite place! My backpacking days are over, due to two bad knees, but we day hike and off-road now. Favorite off-road trips are Kennedy Meadows, Coyote Country, Wheeler Ridge, Laurel Lakes, Silver/Wyman Canyon, Swansea-Cerro Gordo, etc.
Intending to do Swansea-Cerro Gordo loop on dirt bikes/ATV's/maybe a couple of Jeeps next weekend, but wondering what might have happended with all the thunderstorms? I have seen flash floods, that changed the terrain in minutes.
