I finally saw a Busse there! The gentleman actually had two, but one was a Custom Shoppe.

The one I'm wondering about looked like a CGFBM, black w/Snakeskin, but the scales looked a little darker and smoother than usual- you could see the "cuts" but no sharp edges.

Does this suggest a special edition to anyone? The reason I ask is that he was asking $1100!!
 
Snakeskin is bringing a premium right now. Not sure where that price would fall with what has been sold lately on the secondary market but I can tell you that it seems anything with snakeskins is going for top dollar.

Just curious, what was the other knife?

A custom version of one of the newer small knives. (I haven't been paying enough attention lately) About a 3-1/2" - 4" clip-point blade. Came with a black leather IWB sheath and a Buy Brown kydex.
