Anybody going to NRA meetings in Louisville?

I'll be there and yes ka-bar will have a booth. Planning on that being my first stop. Kinda funny that I drove 9 hours for the NRA show and a knife maker is the first place I plan to visit.

Report from the show Friday. Ka-Bar had ONE BK20 package available. Was still there when I left about 3 pm. Couldn't believe it. Ka-Bar had some 5 dollar folders, 5 dollar acherons, and 20 dollar BK13 Ramoras. They had some "seconds" BK7 and 9's. The bk7's were like 35 bucks! Don't remember the price on the bk9's. First time I've held a BK9. Not sure I'll need one with the bk20, bk7, and bk4 in my inventory already. I couldn't resist an Acheron for five bucks since they fit in the small knife sheath on the big Beckers.

Biggest disappointment, Ethan wasn't there :(. I was hoping to meet him.

There are about 70 booths listed in the Cutlery/Sharpeners/Knives & Accessories category.

Bought the last bk9 they had for $45, couldn't be happier. The one twenty set was sold by end of day Fri.

I met Mr. Ritter today. I think he may have been there with the knife rights folks. They were right next to Ka-Bar. There were some sweet deals. Thank You!

Dexgen, How many days did you stay, or did you do it all in a day?

KR is set up beside KaBar and if you met Doug there it was because the KR was there. Did you jump in on the KR fundraiser raffle?

If you saw a short round guy in a hideous black and flowered Hawaiian shirt working the KR area it was me. ;)

Ethan didn't come up to NRA this year, but he'll be at Blade (as you'd expect).

I stayed there from Thursday and left Sunday around noon. K-bar had some goood deals going on, besides the 9 I also grabbed a few tac sporks. They will be pretty handy. The 9 was a reject but besides the drill mark which barely scratched through tbe coating the only flaw was a couple of spots in the coating. Once I eventually strip it down you would never know, couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Dex, Thanks for staying in Louisville for the show. I hope you found us to be good hosts and you had a chance to get away from the fairgrounds long enough to experience some of the local flavor. I looked at the tac sporks as well, but passed due to the knife. It has aggressive serrations like a drywall knife. It didn't appear to be very useful for a knife to use while eating.
