Anybody got a SwissCard Lite ?

I have one for in-wallet carry. It's great for a last-resort backup So far I have used all the functions except the red LED (I EDC the ArcAAA), and the straight pin. The four-function screwdriver doesn't really work well on philips screws. The scissors and and the blade are sharp on first use. Plus, the pen has saved me several times.

Is the red LED light bright enough to be usable ?

How thick is the card - does it bulk up your wallet a great deal ?

Is the whole thing built to last - it does seem a bit plasticky ....

It's actually a bit tougher than the earlier swisscards. The light is typical of any red button LED.

I carry my SAK cardlight in my shirt pocket. The light works ok for close use, like reading a map. I do miss the tooth pick.

well, most resturants now offer a toothpick. If a resturant doesn't have a toothpick, than its time to put that knife to good use.

I have a swiss card lite and its a pretty good tool. Its strong enough to take normal abuses yet small/light enough to comfortably carry it in one's wallet. Overall, I would use the swiss card lite as a back up to a real multi tool.

the toothpick is never useful for me,it just plain suck!well, the gd thing is when u take out a swisscard,i bet they will say"wow"!!!btw, the scissor, magnifying glass and the knife are the most useful in the card!and who care about the led??i ranther use some 3A led for my keychain...... ;)
(easy battery replacement)

I'm curious as to whether the SwissCard can stand up to being sat on, especially since I put my wallet in my back pocket.

Has anyone ever accidentally broken their SwissCard by sitting down?

Just picked up a Swisscard Lite today. So far it seems pretty sturdy. I've got it tucked into my Mission Wallet for front pocket carry. I like the idea of putting it in my shirt pocket, but things tend to fall out of there a little too easy.
