Three Multi's supposedly made by Winchester / Gerber ??

First is sorta SAK size, second is sorta Juice size and the last one is sorta SwissTool size...

Are these cheap and nasty or a fairly good buy for the price ??

I do kinda like the wooden handles !!

hello, they seem to be cheap and in low quality after i saw em...i dun think we should buy em....

The scissors on the knife look typical of the SAK knock-offs that come out of China - the steel is usually pretty poor. I'd pass.

WalMart sells these multitools. You can get the big one there with the wood handles for like $15. They also have one on the shelf in the camping aisle for five bucks that is the same as the big one without the wood handles. I bought one of those just to see how it was. Of course it was absolute junk. Very flimsy feeling despite it's size and the tools would fold up on you without much pressure. I also manage to break the frame near the plier jaws using the pliers with moderate pressure. One good thing about it was that the sheath was actually pretty decent. It has loops for horizontal and vertical carry and an extra pocket to hold all the bits it comes with. I actually used this sheath for a while to carry my supertool because I didn't really like the leather sheath that comes with the supertool. The sheath is worth more than the tool IMO. I have never seen a cheap no name multitool that was actually worth using. You can always spend 25-30 bucks and get a decent leatherman or gerber.

hope this helps

Looks like junk to me. The saw looks like it it'd have a hard time sawing through butter.

I knew they wouldn't be a SwissTool contender but as they were apparently made by Gerber I thought they might be a discontinued range before the Legends came out and so maybe worth the $20 bucks - guess not !!

I just took a look, and my opinion is that they are probably utter crap. The tools are JUST like the ones on my first knockoff SAK. For some reason, you can tell a bad multi by the way the nail nicks are put on, the shape of the tools, and how sharp/strong the tools look.

My experience is that when a manufacturer like Gerber private labels something for a brand name like Winchester, the manufacturer (allegedly Gerber in this case) very rarely puts their name on it. With both "Winchester" and "Gerber" on the package, it wouldn't surprise me if neither company knew anything about these. Counterfeiting of products is an incredibly huge worldwide business. If quality of knives concerns you, how about counterfeit brake pads made out of grass?
