I'm trying to find some info on the H&B ship builders axe. Looking for something to replace my Cold Steel pipe hawk as my camping hatchet and I really like the looks of the ship builders axe. Has anybody used one for basic camp chores or have any general information about the axe itself? Thanks!

Dad had a H&B Shawnee for well over 15 years, I still have it, although it does get used hardly anymore due to the sentimental factor. I've had a Medium Camp Axe and throwing knife since the early 90's and both are still in great shape.

Concur with Wolf- Can't go wrong with H&B!
