Anybody have a new Buck knife they have ordered that is on the way right now, or just received one? I have a brass bolstered 302 Solitaire on the way. I am looking hard at a 113 right now.

In the last 30 minutes the USPS just delivered me a 72-85 BUCK 118 new or almost new, a 705 with the aurum pony etched blade and a 110 two dot in box that looks unused. Feels like Christmas as you wait on these things to show up and finally get to open them.

In the last two weeks I've gotten 3 delivered from the custom shop. An elk handled 113, an elk 110 with nickle silver bolsters and finger grooves, and a water buffalo 110 with nickle silver bolsters and finger grooves, all in S30V. And a custom 110 Jasper arrow (can anyone tell me about this one?) I just picked up today from a local shop. I've developed a buck problem recently... :)

Welcome ABknifenut. Looks like you are a knife nut and I will guess AB stands for ALL BUCK:)

Post pics, please. We would love to see all of these awesome knives.

Ab is for Alberta. But I like All Buck too  seems to fit lately! I'll take some pics tonight and try to post them when I get home from work.

No new ones on the way but I sure would like to see that 113 with the elk handles. I have the basic model and absolutely love it. It's in my rotation for fixed blade work knife. Cardboard doesn't stand a chance!!

I have my FIRST BUCK 110 on its way. I love the variety of the 110's with the customizing and through Deadwood knives, anywhere else you guys would suggest? Thanks.

Hi Chinook, welcome to the forum.

Just for friendly information, we are not able to mention a specific vendor unless they are paid members. Here is a list. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1089879-Paid-Dealer-Members-List

And of course we can mention Buck's website because Buck is obviously a supporter of this forum.

So, when you see a link to a specific retailer/vendor, it means they are paid members and have the privilege of being allowed to be mentioned. I hope this helps.

oh my... new member here. I just thought I posted a detailed 110 issue but think it was lost in cyber space. If it is posted, I cant find it. Sooo, I am going to shorten it and ask a few questions that remain unanswered after having read through this string and visited several Buck knife identification sites. I bought at an estate auction 3 Buck 110s. All were listed as identical with different colored sheaths (no original packaging but brand new from private 2000+ collection). The knives , when opened, blade up, grips to the left say, Buck 110 USA on 3 separate lines. The variations I discovered and were not known by the auctioneers were as follows (sorry, tried to post pics but couldn't figure out how) marks are on the 110 line; 110-, -110-, and 110/. In addition, the 110/ has only one pin visible on the brass bottom (bolster?) when held in the aforementioned position while the other two have clearly 2 pins in the same area visible. Any of you folks that can help me identify when these were made would surely get a heartfelt thanks... Randy, old-buck1

Recently picked up a buck compadre camp knife. Pretty nice I think, although it catches some guff for the red finish. I found the finish was a lot darker than in the images ive seen floating around.

Old-buck1,
Both the 110- and -110- are from 1992. The -110- signifies a slight design change at approximately mid-year. The 110/ is from 1993 and should have 2 rivets on the back bolster, even though you are only seeing one. A little work should make the other rivet visible.

Hmm. Gonna have to work at posting pics...

Only knife I am waiting on. Is the elk stag 119 from bcci.
To be honest not interested in vintage used knives and Buck did not put out much this year that I really liked for new knives. I really liked the alpha series knives and they have pretty much disappeared.
The only new knife I bought this year was the brahma. I do really like that knife.

Yeah, I see. Ha! Been there, done that. I use a photo hosting site called Photobucket. Once the pic is uploaded, you will see 4 choices on the right for posting. I usually use the last one. Click and it will copy, then paste in your post.

Just got the Selkirk awhile back and hope to get out in the woods with the dogs and try it.
