Thinking about picking up one of their hawks anybody have 1 was looking at the competition model . Pictures are more than welcome .

I had the long hunter. Dave Cantaberry did a decent review of it on his site. The hawk itself was great. It was a little lighter than I expected and the handle a little thin but once I wrapped tennis racket tape around it it was perfect. If I ever buy another wood handle hawk I would not hesitate to get one from 2 hawks

I have the Longhunter and WarBeast. If you search this forum for those two names you will see some informative threads and lots of pics. They are great hawks and Devin is very nice and easy to do business with.

Talked to Devin yesterday ordered a competition hawk now the wait 9 weeks looking forward to checking one out in person and yes he seems like a great guy . Thanks Guy's

just registered here to the forum ... I have quite a few of his hawks. War Beast, War Hawk, Longhunter & Woodsman (they're the same hawk - just different haft) and the Competition. I replace his stained Hickory wood handles with my own variety of (wood) handles.

Welcome glad to have you here would ask you to post pictures but I know it's not easy to do when your new here. I'm staining a haft right now mahogany on my Coal Creek forge hawk.

Here's one of my 2Hawks woodsman/longhunter. I prefer to use natural Tung Oil instead of staining.

Here is the Longhunter and Warbeast on Christmas morning!

These are both not only good lookers but also good all around field hawks. The are made of good steel, the edge is perfect for field work and the weight and balance are next to perfect. We head out for a camping trip later this week so they are sharpened, oiled and ready to go!

The new Two Hawks website is up and running and they have their new tactical hawk listed!

There is a guy that sells his stuff on ebay at reasonable prices, usually just what you would pay if you got it from the website. But you don't have to wait.

Did not know that too late already placed my order no big deal I can wait Thanks for the heads up though next time .

bonafide are you removing the blueing from your 2 hawks ? Or is it just the lighting in your pics ? And Thanks for the pictures everyone only 8 weeks left to go !

No problem. I'm not removing the bluing - must be the florescent lighting in the man-cave. No ideal for picture taking I suppose.

That's your man cave mine is an actual cave compared to that I have been using brass coat hooks to hang mine my problem is I have old school plaster over lathing walls hard to keep nails in it have to use anchors some day I will come up with a better way.

I did a deal with Devon, I sent him an Original Two Hawks and he was suppose to send me two of his new Hawks. Only after tracking him down months later at the Indy 1500 and confronting him did he produce the new axes...I find his word Questionable at best.
