I just picked up what looks to be an unused Machete at a yard sale cheap! It is stamped "Falcon Eversharp Original British Steel #20-8" on the blade, with a falcon flying. It also has Falcon Eversharp and the falcon flying logo engraved on the wooden handle.

It has a 19 1/2" Upswept blade and is 25 3/4" OAL. It has 3 "blood grooves" running the length of the blade, that I imagine are to prevent Binding on limbs, etc. The upswept tip is 5" tall, and is SHARP. It has 3 Brass rivets securing the wooden handle.

Anybody have one of these, or knows any info on them? Steel? Where they were manufactured?

Any info is appreciated! :D

yeah, at the Incolma/Gavilan plant. Just another stamp name. The ribs in there keep the machete stiffer. You'll see that on some longer wider blades (how an I-Beam works)
