anybody have any info on buckmaster

I have sold brushed buckmasters,years ago.
but I've had a black buckmaster for years and
never knew the story about the black one
I was told it was made for armed forces,but
I really don't know the truth about the history
of them,age and I never saw them in catalogs

Is it available for pics??? I have no idea what a "Buckmaster" is, and without a model number, I can only assume it is the knife Buck made for opening C-ration cans...

Buck has an annoying habit of recycling old model numbers on new releases...The 104 [originally the "Fighter"] is an example...
